The Resource Department is comprised of the Resource teacher and a dedicated team of experienced education assistants. The Resource teacher works in partnership with parents, district speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, school psychologists, various teacher specialists and outside agencies to provide support for students with specialized learning needs. The Resource teacher works collaboratively with classroom teachers to design individualized programming that fosters social-emotional, academic, and/or physical development and provides direction and assistance to education assistants. The Resource Department aims to help students develop independence, and to learn and grow in a positive, caring environment.

Grade 6-8 Parents….. watch for information coming home with students next week regarding the Middle Grades Activity Day which is currently scheduled for Wednesday, October 7.

The Chilliwack School District is pleased to offer an Integrated Arts and Technology opportunity at AD Rundle Middle School beginning September 2020 for students in grades 6 - 8. An integrated arts and technology approach encourages curiosity, open-mindedness, and a willingness to think “outside the box” within an interdisciplinary, collaborative learning environment. This cohort precedes the opening of the new Integrated Arts and Technology Secondary School (September 2021).
