Raven’s Nest

Some of you may already be familiar with our school’s cafeteria and for some it might be your first time. To all, we say welcome! After months of being home I am happy to be back serving our RTCS families. If you have any questions about menu items etc. please feel free to email me at amrydell@gmail.com

The Raven’s Nest will operate in much the same as it has in previous years, elementary students will have their lunches delievered to their classrooms and middle school studnets will come to the cafeteria to puck up their food. Pre-ordering can be done at any point during the week, orders must be submitted but midnight the night before. Lunch will be available for purchase (middles only) same day but in limited quantitates so to ensure your student gets the lunch it is best to pre order. Online orders can be placed using MunchaLunch, link below. Elementary students can order the same day by placing their order in the lunch bin in their classroom, orders need to be put in the bin in the morning upon arrival. Please let your student know if they were expecting lunch and can't find it or if an item is missing to either let a noon hour supervisor know if you are in elementary or if you are in middle school to come see me in the cafeteria.

Lunch Ordering Information: K-8 students can order their lunches in one of two ways; they can either have a parent or guardian place an online order (orders close midnight of the day before) or they can pre-order their orders for the week on Monday. Orders will be processed if placed in the green bin in their classroom first thing in the morning. Orders are picked up and filled and lunches are delivered directly to their classroom at lunch time. Required info for orders;

-student’s name

-student’s teacher

-student’s division

-item being ordered, dip/flavour/topping choice if applicable

If there is more than one order per family, they can be sent together, with one child, as long as the corresponding names and classrooms are included. If your child is late for school, please have them bring their orders directly to their teacher for further instruction.


-In an effort to keep costs low, the menu will change weekly based on what is in season.

-Some menu items are customizable to a degree, if you have questions about ingredients or if you have a request (i.e. no cheese), send me an email or leave a note with your child’s order and I will do my best.
