CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR READING LINK PARTICIPANTS

Our grade 4/5 Reading Link teams really enjoyed our school competition, and one team represented our school at a district competition. Way to go!

MIDDLE GRADES NEWS

I’ve enjoyed supporting some of our middle school classes with their book clubs/literature circles, as well as being part of some class literacy routines. Helping students find new authors and books of interest brings this librarian great joy.  Our Dungeons and Dragons Club has great participation – thanks, Mrs. Choi. Chess Club has had a few disruptions with Monday holidays and the election but will be starting up again on Mondays at lunch. Our library volunteers deserve a HUGE thank you!

OVERDUE BOOKS

Overdue books – Please check your “junk mail” for emails from our school. If you have an overdue notice, help your youth to find the missing books or, if they think they have returned it, remind your youth to check in with me or fire me an email. Sometimes, the books are in their classroom or rarely, here in the library already. Your support on this is appreciated.
