The Resource Department is an important part of our school community and is comprised of our Resource Teacher and a dedicated team of experienced Education Assistants. The Resource Teacher works collaboratively with students, families, classroom teachers, district professionals, and community partners to support students with diverse and specialized learning needs. Together, the team develops and implements individualized supports and programming that honour each student’s strengths, interests, abilities, and goals, while supporting their social-emotional, academic, communication, and/or physical development.

The Resource Department works closely with classroom teachers to help create inclusive learning environments where all students can participate, experience success, and develop a growing sense of independence. Through caring relationships, responsive support, and collaboration with families and the broader school community, the team strives to ensure that every student feels valued, capable, connected, and supported in their learning and growth.
